"We had a good run, didn't we?" he asks then, voice quiet. A sad smile is tugging at his mouth and it's a sight Sebastian doesn't like a whole lot, something he'd rather see replaced with something happier, something more genuinely elated, like the smiles he wore on podiums they shared.
Sebastian knocks his shoulder into Lewis', trying to lighten the somber mood. "Your run has been a bit better than mine, but yeah, we did."

There's a smile on both their faces, George doesn't believe will disappear for a while and then he's closing his eyes and spreads his arms a little, no doubt serving a perfect picture pose for people to digest on social media as soon as they're done celebrating. The champagne feels amazing on his skin, cools him down a little. He feels like this is where he belongs, where they belong.
He hopes there'll be many more moments like this.
