Summary
When she was younger, Hermione would have never guessed that by the time she was 22, Harry would be happily married and a father with Pansy Parkison. She would also have never guessed that in a make-up 8th year and the years following, a group of Slytherins would integrate seamlessly into her friend group. Now she's a successful barrister for the Ministry, and been placed on a task force with Auror Draco and Healer Theo as potion overdoses have become a societal issue in post-war Britian. Mental health has long been something only talked about behind closed doors in the wizarding world, and the ramifications of not taking it seriously are now rearing their ugly heads. When Theo realizes the only way to fully heal her cursed scar is to enter into a secret fake marriage with Draco as the last of the Black bloodline, what could go wrong? Summary
With rumours of an impending marriage law making the rounds in Wizarding Britain, Hermione Granger takes it upon herself to announce a competition to win her heart, in hopes of securing a match on her own before the Ministry mandates one for her. News breaks in The Daily Prophet that the wizard who can catch her cat, whose collar holds a key to her flat, will be the one who also wins her heart.
Meanwhile, Draco Malfoy has become a virtual shut-in, living alone in Malfoy Manor. He, like everyone else, learns of the competition, but has no intention of winning it himself.
It seems to be by pure coincidence that he ends up befriending Granger's cat out of crippling loneliness. When he moves into her building at the behest of their mutual best friend, Theo Nott, who is also a resident, he finds himself having a front row seat to the competition.
Of course, he and everyone else have no idea that her cat is no ordinary cat. The cat, or "Duchess" as Draco finds himself calling her, is actually Hermione herself in her animagus form.

Summary
Hermione, as usual, has done the impossible. She has found a cure for the obliviate spell, and she is eager to present her findings to the wizarding world at large. The problem is, Hermione is attacked when presenting her research at St. Mungo's, and she finds herself rescued by a masked man in tactical gear. Only, he's using a gun... and a wand?
Draco has been forced into servitude along with every other child of the death eaters. It wasn't a choice to join the underground task force, but he does rather excel at it. As he does. The Knights, all of whom go by code names and operate in the shadows, carry out their orders with deadly precision. They do not usually play bodyguard to other witches and wizards.
Hermione is the exception. Draco is tasked with keeping Hermione alive, protecting her from what seems to be a muggle army. Or zombies. They're not exactly sure. Only, Hermione has no idea who is behind the mask. All she knows is that a Knight has been sent to her flat, H3. And she's stuck with him.
