That's most probably why she actually lets Ginny convince her to finally write a letter using the most sensational invention of the last decade: soulmate paper. It should be simple, she just writes a letter and a Ministry owl will carry her letter to whoever is magically determined to be her soulmate. So simple she trusts Ginny, agent of chaos that she is, to send it off for her, which is, perhaps, how she ends up with three replies to her letter instead of just one.
