Beatrice woke up early. A fact as believable as Ava liking to sleep in. Sliding her way as gracefully out of Ava’s solid grip as possible, to pad to the kitchen and flick the kettle on. She’d wander back into their bedroom to pick up a sweatshirt that at this point she wasn’t sure if it was hers or Ava’s from the neat way their clothes were folded together in the chest of drawers.
