"Mrs. Malfoy, may I ask about that book you were reading last week? The one about cleaning spells?"
"Of course, you may." Hermione was positive Narcissa was smirking at her, but it was only a micro expression and hard to decipher.
"The spell in it that I read, what does it do?" Nothing about her felt different, but she needed to know just in case.
"Most likely, nothing." Narcissa shrugged one shoulder. "It's a very old part of a pureblood marriage ritual. As we weren't getting married at the time, It's unlikely that it will do anything."
