I started watching Supernatural in 2006. Rewatching season one has inspired me to write and read fics like I used to. I start posting a multichapter fic only after it's complete.
Characters are the main draw for me, Sam & Dean especially. I also like the variety: suspense, angst, hurt/comfort, humor to lighten things up. My favorite endings are happy or bittersweet where the ride however dark or bleak it was ends on a heart-warming note or at least with some hope.
More about me as a writer:
- gen fics: no (or minor) romance 'cause there are things to hunt so no time for smut
- T or M rated: the latter for graphic horror or heavy themes
- case fics <3
- especially folklore creatures the show didn't do but known monsters, ghost stories, or occasional human antagonists (e.g. magic users, the law) are fun too
