Summary
Castiel runs away from the religious cult in which he was raised. He ends up in a small town in central Arkansas, broke, alone, and hurting. When he meets Dean, however, things seem to be looking up.
Dean wishes he could run away from his current life...well, mostly, he wants to run away from his father. He hires the new-to-town Jimmy to work in his family's diner. The longer they spend time together, the more profound their bond grows.

Summary

Castiel has dreamed of having children, and when the opportunity comes for him to foster a brother and sister, he takes it. Now, however, he’s in over his head.
Cue their social worker, Dean. The man relates to the children after his own parents died, and he and his brother went into the foster system. He knows both sides of the coin when it comes to fostering and adopting, and is determined to help them all.
Over time, feelings develop between the two men. Can they come together despite the turmoil in Castiel's and the children’s lives, or are they better off as friends?
