He makes excuses, debates with himself and the ongoing projects that need to be finished or polished properly. Hums, argues with Raphael and seconds later answers Guy with a yes. Yes, he has to make an appointment.
The Demon Lord laughs, throws his head back and his shoulders shake, making the Pixie fly up, bubbling up with displeasure. He looks up again, a soft grin on his face – it's a date then. He says.

Summary
I wrote most of this maybe two-three years ago and it was just laying around all this time. It is actually quite a well-formed original story with a stable plot and some interesting details like angelic lore and god's appearance. And I have several texts in nonlinear narrative.
The main character of this universe - which I call The Bibleverse (what a pun) - is Lucifer himself. And the whole plot in a nutshell is "Lucifer is depressed and spends his days on Earth slowly becoming human".

D&D inspired/Fantasy AU (you don't have to know how D&D works to enjoy this, really). Starring:
Jack as the eldritch abomination/god, that bitch and Rhys' chaotic patron
Rhys as the archaeologist and later on warlock with no self-preservation
Lilith as the Raven Queen, the goddess of death who dislikes disbalance and Jack
and Timothy as (well, you'll find out)A thrilling non-linear saga involving magic, religion, pocket dimensions, betrayal, severed limbs, Jack's sense of humour and a lot of sexual tension.
