⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⊰⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅∙∘☽༓☾∘∙•⋅⋅⋅•⋅⋅⊰⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•When Kagome, on the brink of whelping his pup, leaves Inuyasha and heads to her brother-in-law's shiro, Inuyasha loses control of his beast and mauls his wife to a state of near-death. Sesshōmaru's soldiers find them, just barely saving Kagome's life at the expense of Inuyasha's. With Tenseiga not an option, Sesshōmaru comes to the difficult decision to forcibly mate Kagome in order to save her life, tying her soul to his for all of eternity.
