Summary
Cordelia Jackson had been warned. Ever since she had been thrust into this infernal world, she had heard all the stories. The stories of lawless lands and anarchic people, of epic wars and legendary heroes, of ruthless monsters and merciless Gods.
The stories of how things used to be.
And now, she finds herself in the thick of it, with nobody to rely on but herself.
May the Gods' blessing be with you, for you shall certainly need it.

Summary
I love reading rewrites with everyone's own interpretations, so here's my try at one. I'm aiming for more of an eldrich-feel of the gods and demigods, as well as a bigger focus on the family arc throughout the series.

Bookmarker's Notes
Percy knows about Roman gods as well as Greeks. The demigods have more obvious differences with mortals (scales/wings/auras). Percy also likes to be chatty in his prayers, gives handmade gifts and claim the pantheon is his family and he loves them, damnit!
He now is known to other water gods and a prince of the sea. He also has a magical crown/circlet for his station.

Summary
New York was being doused in rain. A cat-five hurricane touched down out at sea. An underwater earthquake followed, tectonic plates shifting, water being sucked away from the shorelines. Warnings are quickly sent to surrounding coastal cities along the Atlantic.
Prepare yourself.
A hospital in Manhattan was unaffected. A bubble of safety surrounded the building. Nurses chatted as they worked, talked about the rain, talked about the storm, talked about the beautiful, haunting newborn in room 316 whose heart worriedly stuttered anytime he was away from his mother.
The room was quiet. The mother slept. The baby, born too late for mortals but too early for anything else, was awake, staring at the ceiling.
A drop of water ran from the faucet, and as it hit the sink it moved, formed. Out stepped a man. A Greek God, ancient and old, powerful and wild, condensed into the form of a mortal. He looked fondly on the woman resting, before stepping to the cradle and looking down at his son.
Cresting waves met the depths.
“Hello Perseus,” Poseidon rumbled, his voice layered with blessings and ancient rites, “welcome to the world, μικρός μου Πρίγκιπας των Θαλασσών.”
