Summary
Merta Bosconi knows this war is lost, and there's nothing she can do to change that.
Disgraced, dishonorably discharged, and eking out a living as a civilian courier, she expects to mourn her country's losses from a distance. Then an encounter with an old acquaintance gives her one last opportunity to do some good. What this is, is a bunch of tips and tricks. There’s a Quick Start Guide at the top, for if you’re staring at your very first podfic and don’t know where to start. After that there’s a lot of the podfic equivalent of, ‘Have you tried a baking strip?’ and, ‘This is what butter creamed with sugar should look like.’ Etc. Take what’s useful; forget about what’s not. Cheers.

Summary

Not that that's stopped the local legend, a (self-described) beautiful detective with peerless martial arts. His crush is a major inconvenience - at least until there's a murder that puts Lin Ronghu's most hated political nemesis straight in the frame. Since Lin Ronghu can't believe that anyone would be that stupid, he decides that maybe having a private detective around might be good for something after all...
