Many years ago, I watched Horatio Hornblower, and after poking around on the internet, started reading fanfiction for the first time. That led me to start writing fics. Then I had a baby and took almost 10 years off. Every year or three, usually in the Fall, I would write a little more. This last year I started writing Farscape fanfiction, and that warmed me up to try again to finish, or at least bring to more graceful stopping point, my abandoned Hornblower work, as well.
I tend to explore dark themes, and probably enjoy angst and pain far too much. I am specific about point-of-view because my narrators are unreliable, coloring what is happening through the lens of their own beliefs, fears, and desires.

Horatio Hornblower fics
My stories start pre-Even Chance but can be read out of order. My Horatio Hornblower stories are Horatio/Archie pre-slash and dive deep into very very dark themes because of the source material, time period and fandom views of Jack's relationship with Archie. POV changes. Some Extreme/Mature content and underage, but I hope in as tasteful as sexual and other violence can be, at least. Take my tags seriously!Farscape fics
These are John/Aeryn focused, but I am following canon, and my stories are mostly very internal and centered around emotions and change and filling in missing parts of Aeryn's journey. For this series I am writing a story in between each episode, all centered around an idiom that I use as a jumping off point to explore her traumatic journey and their eventual relationship. Homesick is the start, and while they can be read out of order, they do refer to each other as well as canon.
