She was stuck in a relationship she didn't want anymore, and Peter knew that she couldn't keep this whole thing up forever. He had considered reaching out to her by texting or calling, but every time he started, he couldn't land on what to say. He felt like he was abandoning her as a result, but what was he supposed to tell her?
