Bruce had abandoned the car in Rapid City, South Dakota, and had hitch-hiked his way to Kalispell, Montana where he had remained in a log cabin on the outskirts of Glacier National Park until Tony had shown up on his doorstep three weeks ago. Bruce had been frog-marched to a waiting helicopter, Tony grinning as he completely ignored Bruce’s protests and instead sang the praises of a safehouse in Mexico that Tony had decided to gift to Bruce. In truth, after the first week of daiquiris and hard labor, Bruce had begun to find a little peace.
