Summary
Inspired by the works of Keigo Higashino, this story follows Hermione and Draco during their eighth year at Hogwarts, after Draco Malfoy confessed to assaulting Hermione Granger at Malfoy Manor that year. As punishment, he is forced to wear a monitoring bracelet and must remain at least five meters — or seven feet — away from Hermione at all times.
Draco never utters a single word about what truly happened that night.
Throughout the school year, a series of strange murder cases begin to occur.
The first half of the story is told from a third-person perspective, with a slow-burn progression.
