“I’m pleased you feel comfortable enough to sleep,” Yuuri still didn’t bother to look at him as he continued, “I should introduce myself. My name is Katsuki Yuuri-”
“I don’t care who you are,” Victor immediately responded.
There was a long moment of silence after his quick and spiteful remark.
The fire reflecting in Yuuri’s eyes as he lit a candle seemed to flare for a moment.
“...you will,” Yuuri finally replied softly.
When Prince Victor Nikiforov is kidnapped by pirates, he expects a brief reprieve from his life as a prince and perhaps an exciting new experience.
He learns otherwise.
“Karasuno Volleyball Team. Greetings and welcome! We thank you for your patience, and hope that you are excited to be here. You have all been chosen by your school to participate in a special program that allows you to gain new skills, learn how to function in a professional setting, and make lifelong friendships!...
...It is important that for the time being you listen carefully to instructions if you want to do well here, but we hope that you will learn many new skills and, of course, just have fun!”
The intercom cut abruptly and the boys were left in a room of silence for what seemed like forever until Tanaka interrupted it.
“What the hell was that.”
For once, Tsukishima and Tanaka held the same sentiment.
They were supposed to be at a training camp. Instead, the Karasuno team finds themselves in an unknown building with strange people who give them cryptic looks and vague answers. They need to find an escape, but for now they must stick together to keep each other safe...and sane.

He had told Joji he was also in love.
He wasn't lying.
"Apparently, Bofur knew someone who was just as desperate for a plus one as Bilbo was. The deal was that this Thorin Durin would go as his boyfriend to Bilbo’s family gathering, and Bilbo would go as Thorin’s at his own family gathering the following weekend."
Or Bilbo and Thorin make a bad situation much worse.
It makes him remember their wedding day a few years ago, wonderful, complex, and fairytale-like. It was perfect, so perfect and neither of them would change a single thing about that day.
But the more he ponders it, he reconsiders it, especially with his new observations on Viktor and that hidden yearning. Does...does Viktor wish he could wear a wedding dress?
A traditional white dress, is that what he wants? That it's not just an interest or a mere fascination, but a deep desire he doesn't act upon?
He gazes at his silent husband who's completely invested in the cliched scenario of Lori and Monte intervening for the bride who has tried 80 dresses and her wedding is in two weeks and can't stand up to her discouraging entourage, and he feels a pang of love for the man of his life. He's ready to bring the world at his feet, he swears.
(in which Viktor watches Say Yes To The Dress obsessively and Yuuri notices it means something more than entertainment. Aka Yuuri puts Viktor in a wedding dress)
