    Summary

Link took in the large man with his bright red clothes and shiny jewelry. He wondered if he could get some clothes that color. And what kind of rocks those were in the jewelry?

“I'm sorry, sir. This is my son, Link. I'm sure if he'd known you were here he'd be on his best behavior.”

Link knew by the tone, that was really an order. Dad always said to be polite to adults. But this didn't seem like a “please” or “thank you” situation. Link wasn't too good at remembering all those other manners. Well, being polite was like being nice, right? So Link did the nicest thing he could think of.

    “Wanna see my frog?”

Or a look at what might have been if pre-calamity Link had grown up with more freedom and got to hold on to more of his gremlin energy.

    Summary

There you stand, next to me
All at once, the rest is history
Your eyes are wider than distance
This life is sweeter than fiction

    ~

At the end of it all, when the Witchers have united under Geralt’s name, when Geralt stands in front of them, when he tells them that in two days’ time they march for Ard Carraigh—

It’s Jaskier who first shouts his agreement, “White Wolf!”

The hall seems to hold its breath for a moment and then, a great rumble like thunder in the distance, coming from every voice in the hall, “White Wolf!”

Jaskier could swear, even though he’s only one of hundreds, that in that moment, Geralt looks directly at him, golden eyes burning into his soul.

Or: the first twenty years of the Warlord of the North's reign as documented by Jaskier of the Cats

    Summary

Jaskier has zero intention of sharing the degrading experience of getting tortured. Ever. He’ll bury the memories and someday they’ll be as scabbed over as Caingorn was.

Which had been completely, absolutely, fine. And the only reason that wound is bleeding a little now is because fucking Geralt came out of nowhere—after the most humiliating experience of his entire life—and reopened the fucking thing. But that’s fine because he’ll leave and return to the terror of his smuggling work and forget about Geralt all over again. There’s nothing hard drink and the constant danger of execution won’t get his mind off. Because there’s something therapeutic about fearing for one’s life that makes anything not of immediate concern go away.

So yes, things were just fine before Geralt showed up.

Two years post-Caingorn, Geralt rescues Jaskier from prison and sends him with Ciri to Kaer Morhen. However, Geralt suspects Jaskier is hiding serious trauma.

    Summary

Georgette Quintrell daydreams of bluebird skies, wildflowers, and a handsome Alpha who won’t mind that her sweet Omega scent is all but barely present as she spends most of her time practically invisible in parlors and dining rooms. All it takes is one glance at the gorgeous Baron Vendale for her to become fascinated by his perfect face and hoarfrost eyes…but the Baron, in mourning for his recently passed mother and overtaken by his own worries and distractions doesn’t even notice her. How is a near-scentless Omega supposed to woo an Alpha when he doesn’t even know she exists?
