Hermione frowned as she stood outside Flourish and Blotts, studying the window display intently. Her mind was distracted, as it had been since the war. It had been six months since Voldemort was defeated. Six months since Bellatrix had been killed. Six months since she had discovered that not all was as it seemed, her mind was no longer her own. She hadn’t told anyone of course, knowing they would believe she was crazy or suffering some form of PTSD from the torture she had gone through at the woman’s hands. The only one who knew was her new house elf, which was strangely her only confidant besides the other voice in her mind.
Admit it, it wasn’t that bad. It could have been worse. You’ve seen the things I’ve done long before you came along.
She grimaced at the woman’s voice, not wanting to agree but being unable to. She agreed that it could have been much worse than a cursed dagger carving ‘Mudblood’ into her creamy skin. However, neither of them knew just what curse that dagger had, though the fact that Voldemort had given it to Bellatrix should have been a clue.

Summary
Hermione survived her fifth year at Hogwarts, and the torture that Umbridge unleashed on her. As Dumbledore and Voldemort's truce comes together, everyone begins to prepare for the war they all know is coming. Umbridge is still at large, and Hermione has learned who the 'Boss' is, but at a price.
Being in 1927 London isn't all it's cracked up to be. Hermione needs to find a way home, back to her mates, back to her family. Being forced to team up with a group of people that are at odds with one another, can Hermione manage to get home without changing the future too drastically? Not everything, or everyone, are as they seem. As Hermione races to find the two women that had arrived years before her, she must bring this group together in order for them all to survive, while trying not to destroy the future.

When Bella arrives in town the Cullen's are shocked. They don't know what she is although she has the golden eyes of a vampire she smells nothing and acts nothing like a vampire. People are not afraid of her, in fact they are drawn to her. Rosalie knows the girl is her mate but Bella is skittish around her family. It's up to Rosalie to figure out who Bella is while trying to get the girl alone for at least a minute.
