Her tone left no room for argument, but the way her golden eyes were fixed on Harrow, the slight downward turn of her lips, the muscle in her temple twitching as she tensed her jaw all suggested that was braced for one anyway, so it was a small pleasure watching how quickly she deflated when Harrow sighed deeply and said, “Alright.”
