Summary
The lines of communication between demons was something of an art form, the rules of propriety which must be observed when conversing with those who were fundamentally not apart of that which you were nor had any business with those whom you were aligned to were extensive and rather delicate. It was an elegant dance where one misstep, one part even slightly offended, ended with heads presented in baskets or on platters depending on which parties were being dealt with. It was the foundation of the business which Haddon had founded, it was the means by which Haddon had funded all of the projects and works in place. Unfortunately it also meant that on the rare occasion that Haddon was left as the sole contact on Earth left by which humans could contact their masters or friends -as if the concept of true friendship and the understandings necessary to make that friendship a possibility was within the range of human emotions- Haddon was in the line of fire.

Summary
New members flocked to the reasonable religious doctrine that denied neither the Marker nor Andraste but that was about it. Their strange views about land had resonated deeply within the hearts and minds of people living in areas heavily affected by the Mage-Templar War or blighted with rifts. That men belonged to the land: born upon it, living upon it, and when their spirit departed their mortal bodies returned to it was unexpectedly inspiring. The forsaking of the Fade in its current state as something created by the corrupted men in search of power was also powerfully moving. That the Cult did not elaborate of what happened to the Spirit after death had struck a powerful chord in Trevelyan.
Why he was here was the other thing that the Cult was teaching, that the beast was not something separate from the man. Not some eternal test put forth by the Maker to determine an individual’s worth in an endless game of self-control but just another component of the soul. It was the acceptance of the beast as a part of themselves that created an aura of confidence about them, an aura of primordial power that trickled from their skin. That was true control, control achieved by surrender.

Really there was only one drawback that had made me hesitant to sign onto the Queen’s Icon. Some dumbass had decided to name J23-61 Terra Nova and the name had made it into the charter. “Fuckin’ homeworld colonies.” I said looking at the bold block letters proudly displaying the words ‘Terra Nova’ at the top of the holoscreen, “No imagination in their names. If we’re makin’ somethin’ this beautiful it should’ve been named after a woman.” No one disagreed.

Summary
It was a strange song, a song unknown to us but beautiful even as its darkest, ugliest verse. As it was sung we grew to understand slowly, as we listened closer we understood deeply and so we came to sing in unison and harmony. But as we rose our voices in song so did others and where once was a song with no flaws came discord. Many who had once sung along with the First grew despondent and their thought disturbed painting their voices in oily colors thick as blood. And yet through that noise, through that chaos the First sung on pure and bright and beautiful as ever - a vivid burning blue/green color like the tropical water oceans of garden worlds and clear as finely cut crystals. It was that song that held strong in the raging storm of the Darkest Days in the endless deafening uproar of the Cruel Ones' Song. When all hope seemed lost the First wrestled the discordant harmony away from the Cruel Ones and gave them that clear blue/green song to sing instead. And made the galaxy sing in harmony with the power the Cruel Ones had given the First long before in hopes the First would bring the Final Discord to an end.

But that thought slowly grew, taking over her attraction to other men until he was the only one she thought of any longer.
But then she accidentally floos to Grimmauld and when the soot settles she blinks at the sight of Sirius staring at her with raised eyebrows and...something else filling his face.
