Izuku has heard that phrase a few times while behind bars, but he didn't know what it means until he felt the pain of losing everything he leaned to cherish. Betrayed, beaten and tortured he prevailed, unwavering in his pursuit to prove everyone wrong. But the decision of one person has given him the chance to not only get justice against those that harmed him, it gives him the chance to finally fight.
His class is going to find out why he was the king of the prison at the age of ten, and see the one thing that kept everyone in line.
No one cared who he was until he put on the mask.

Summary
How does one understand a sentient quirk that seems to know and see everything around him?
Izuku has suffered every night from nightmares involving the same thing, A Flaming Lidless Eye. The sheer sight of its gaze had scorched his body and forced him awake from a fever, but it was the voice that scared him. After that, the visions changed.
Instead of the eye, it was armies marching on kingdoms and always ended with the eye bearing down on him. Though these became the least of his problems since there was this feeling of fingers clawing at the back of his mind, trying to make him do things he doesn't want.
But he is determined to control his strange quirk and prove he can be a hero. He just wishes the nine cloaked figures that keep appearing in his room would stop calling him Dark Lord.

Vader reaches out timidly as his hand caresses Padme's stomach, afraid that this new branch of him might crumble. The opposite happens. The moment his mind brushes against that of his children, he knows for certain three things at once:
He's not dead, this is not a dream, and his children have Force-bonded with him.
OR:
After twenty years under Lord Sidious's thumb, Vader expects to die in his son's arms and stay dead. The Force disagrees.
There are other methods of balance. Find a new one.
Vader's thrown into the past with the chance to change it all. It goes terribly wrong.

Reverently, he dropped the shoe box in Percy lap. The demigod set the nectar down on the table once it was all gone, strength renewed to deal with the insanity happening right in front of him. He gently open the box up and when he saw what was inside, he dropped it and buried his head in his hands.
That damned horn.
“Is this a prank?” He asked, his voice now hoarse from the emotions claiming up his throat rather than from his terrible night, “The Minotaur.”

“Let him hear.” Percy scowled, standing up from the chair, holding the shoe box in a tight angry grip.
