Summary
Bruce and Clark have been way too busy in their own cities and work to make time for each other. They reunite when Bruce hosts yet another lavish charity gala in Gotham City and consequently, Clark is sent by the Daily Planet to cover the event. Eager to spend some quality time with his husband for the first time in weeks, Clark patiently waits for Bruce to get over with his overcrowded gala. Bruce senses his earnestness, and decides to toy with him by getting more carried away with his guests than he usually does, testing to see how long Clark can maintain his “obedient and uncomplaining husband” act.
