Summary
One hundred years ago during the Carni-Herbi War, the herbivores bioengineered the Rabies virus to wipe out the carnivores. But an experimental brain implant technology saved them from annihilation. With it, the carnivores won the War and now dominate the Earth. Defeated, the herbivores have been relegated to second-class citizens, slaves, and food.
However, the scars of war run deep. Jack's death at the hands of the virus sends the timid and withdrawn Legosi into a spiral of self-destruction, finding solace only by indulging in his herbivore fetish. That is, until he is called upon to protect Four.
Four, an herbivore clone, holds a secret that will radically alter the balance of power between herbivore and carnivore. When he escapes from his carnivore captors, he seeks to find the truth behind his past. He may just find it with an unusual wolf...
Together, they become enmeshed in a conflict between the herbivore remnants, the government, an organized gang of lions, and more. Their obstacles are many, their foes powerful, and they must use their wits to survive the machine.

Summary
The sudden murder of Louis' only friend, an alpaca by the name of Tem, leads Louis to discover things about the nature of his lineage that had been suppressed deep down within him his entire life. Is he truly the broody, unimportant herbivore he is outwardly believed to be, or is there something dangerous and feral within?
After the murder, Legoshi finds his role as the unofficial leader of the drama club questioned and himself at the center of the investigation, whilst the very secrets his whole life is built around are poised to be revealed to everyone, threatening to destroy everything the wolf loves.
AU where Louis is a deer/carnivore hybrid of largely unknown origin and Legoshi is a pure-blooded wolf rescued from the hyperdrug trade and adopted by Gosha and Leano under mysterious circumstances.

The phone was a battered relic, the buttons worn smooth. Legoshi’s paws shook as he picked it up, the dial tone a hollow echo in his ears. His mind raced, stumbling over names—Gosha, Jack, but no, no, he needed someone with power. Someone who could cut through this nightmare.
His thumb hovered over the keypad, and muscle memory took over. The number spilled from him, a lifeline from a forgotten past. The phone rang once. Twice. The officers watched, their expressions cold and unreadable. A third ring.
"Hello?"
Legoshi’s breath hitched. The voice on the other end was smooth, practiced, with a steel edge beneath the polish.

High school has just ended, and, so far, I've done nothing with my life. There really isn't much to do other than wait for college, or so I thought. A few days ago, Louis invited our friend group to go on a camping trip with him. We're supposed to be going up to his cabin in the woods. It's supposed to be fun. A final "get-together" for all of us. Haru, Juno, Jack, and Louis. All the animals I'm supposed to like. And yet, something inside me tells me going with them will either be the worst decision of my life or the best.
