"The Empress was not just any image of power, she was the power, and she knew it, she loved the sweet taste that filled her mouth whenever she saw the fear in the eyes of her inferiors and the excitement at seeing the little spasms of fright and their faces turning flushed when they saw her, reminding every day that she was in charge. This time it was no different, she liked to tease, that everyone knew, but she liked it even better if it was an outsider princess with honey-colored curls who was now in her domains."

Eu sou horrível em sumários então toma uma espiadinha:
"A Imperatriz não era apenas uma imagem de poder qualquer, ela era o poder e sabia disso, ela adorava o sabor doce que tomava conta de sua boca sempre que percebia o medo nos olhos de seus inferiores e a excitação ao ver os pequenos espasmos de susto e seus rostos se tornando corados quando a viam, a relembrando todo dia de que ela estava no comando. Dessa vez não era diferente, ela gostava de provocar, isso todos sabiam, mas gostava ainda mais se fosse uma princesa forasteira com cachos cor de mel que estava agora em seus domínios."

Summary
