Derek and Stiles celebrate their anniversary at the old Hale family lake house.
“Oh my god,” said Stiles, shrinking away from the fish. “Oh ew, what the hell is that?!”
“A trout?”
“Why is it... doing that?” he demanded, looking pretty freaked out as he imitated the flapping. “Oh, get it away from me, that is so gross.”
“It’s a fish,” said Derek, putting the thing face down in a bucket. “You have seen and eaten fish before. What’s the problem?”
“None of the fish I see and eat do all... that!” complained Stiles, looking at the thing with almost comedic horror on his face. “Oh, I hate that. I hate everything about that.”
“You are ridiculous,” said Derek, sitting on the float beside him and kicking at the bucket. “It’s literally a fish.”
Stiles’ arms wrapped around his waist as he continued to watch the fish flap around in morbid curiosity. “It’s gross, I’m never eating any type of fish again, this is horrible.”
