Summary
No one ever understood why Daemon Blackfyre turned his brother Aegor Rivers and the conspirators over to his half brother and his king. If asked he would merely say the Gods told him to. But he would never say which....
As his actions changed the world forever, far in the North cold dark eyes grew wild with hatred.

'No! Vhagar!'
Just when the beast open its massive jaw and Arrax' short, abrupt cry, red lightnings flared across them out of thin air. With it came a black thunderstorm that enraged, as though it tried to claim them whole.
And claim them it did.

Right before his death, Lucerys, along with his-menacing-uncle, were swallowed by a storm that take them back to Old Valyria before its doom. And, to Aemond’s disgrace, they discovered a ‘queer’ genders tradition—that the Faith would deemed abomination, no less. -

Summary
The Targaryens have been closer to gods than men, none would deny this. With the naming of a female heir, it appears as though the House of the Dragon is divided amongst itself.
All that was required to thwart the Dance as we know it was a daughter born of Old Valyria, of salt and blood, fire and darkness.
Laenor just wished the Targaryens weren't as dysfunctional as they were. The blood of the dragon runs thick, Daemon had told him once, apparently it makes them thick.
In which the Gods of Valyria (and me) says no to the Dance and as a result we are served with Targaryen realness and dysfunction.

Summary
What would happen if the young princess Lucerys Velaryon had not died in Shipwreck Bay after being attacked by her uncle Aemond Targaryen. She and her dragon Arrax would have died at the foot of a weirwood tree, while they made a last wish, to see her mother and her family again. What would happen if said wish was heard by a believer of the faith of the old gods, Cregan Stark. Inspired by Tim Burton's Corpse Bride movie.

Summary
“Let me melt your wings, little dragon,” The Sea Snake’s voice whispered against his hair as his eyes slipped closed, the stars above Driftmark filling his vision behind his eyelids, “I’ll give you enough fire to light your way, to help me guide you, but this time you’ll belong to the sea.”
Lucerys Velaryon dies above Storm's End, and the Dance begin and ends, setting into motion the downfall of House Targaryen. But the gods of Old Valyria have other plans for the rightful queens favored son.
(An astronomically slow burn Lucemond time travel fix it fic, because its almost thanksgiving and I want to indulge myself in some gratuitous Lucerys love, alright.)

Summary
This word derives from the Latin "vĕrĕor / verêri," meaning "to revere, respect, fear." A befitting noun of the husband-consort of Queen Daenerys, Shaerion Targaryen. And this is the story from the perspectives of him and his family.

And yet, he is being celebrated as if a new age is to be brought by his growth. Her father has yet to change the succession, she still remains heir, but she knows many, many lords would prefer a child barely out of infancy over a girl of sixteen namedays and almost ten of lessons on how to rule and present herself to court.

Summary
In one world, two dragons break free from their riders’ control, and Lucerys Velaryon is eaten alive. In another, both Lucerys and Aemond have slightly better mastery over their mounts.
It makes all the difference.
When she sent Lucerys to Storm’s End, Rhaenyra had never imagined he would come so close to death. Nor that the prize he brought back would win her the Dance of Dragons before it could even begin.

Summary
Instead of attempting to reclaim the eastern lands of his ancestors, Phil sailed west for the seven kingdoms, his twin sons Wilbur and Technoblade at his side. Together, they came ashore on the eastern coast of Esempih. Their blazon: a dragon, with three heads, representing Phil and his sons. Their words: fire and blood.
———
Anthony Frost, firstborn son of the late king of House Frost, is on the run after the assassination attempt he orchestrates against his twin brother fails miserably. In an unexpected twist of fate, he discovers the lost heir of a bygone era, and what might be the key to reclaiming his throne.
Unfortunately, Velvet has a similar bone to pick and a century’s worth of rage and blood on his hands to back it up, which means that Ant’s more along for the ride than anything. He can’t complain, though, since he’s now the first person in over a hundred years to command a dragon, without being a descendent of the royalty of Old Valyria, or using dark magic to tame the beast.
The fact that Velvet looks damn good covered in the blood of their mutual enemies probably isn’t helping, either.

Summary
“If you say a single word, I will hurt you.”
To his great credit, Aegon manages not to say a single word. Instead, he starts laughing. He laughs until his sides hurt and there are tears welling up in his eyes; in fact, he laughs until he has to brace himself on his cane, gasping and still giggling, for it’s just so ridiculous.
Aemond is wearing one of Helaena’s dresses. To be exact, he’s wearing the summer dress that was her favourite while she was pregnant with Jaehaerys and Jaehaera. It’s yellow. A deep and vibrant yellow. Embroidered all over with flowers and butterflies, if it could get any more incongruous, and to top it off, it’s too short, only just making it halfway down his shins. Just about its only redeeming feature is that the yellow somehow complements his hard sapphire glare.
A post-war AU in which Aegon, with no living heir, is persuaded to take Aemond as a second spouse. In which dresses are treated poorly, physical wounds are the ones that heal the quickest and the Targtower siblings have to hold each other together because if they don't, who will?

𝑯𝑶𝑼𝑺𝑬 𝑶𝑭 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑫𝑹𝑨𝑮𝑶𝑵
Daemon Targaryen had wed the eldest Hightower daughter. Their marriage was filled with chaos, deception, lust and unfaltering, unwavering desire for the other. Alerie Hightower was Daemon Targaryen's. They had a marriage built on the bonds of understanding one another, yet their marriage would falter and crumble under the perception of loyalty and where one should place theirs.
Aemond loved his mother unconditionally. She was his comfort, rock and home. She loved, fought for, and embraced him when no one else would.
Alerie Hightower understood her position in the world of Westeros. She was a woman who had married a Prince, had birthed a Prince, and was sister to a Queen and she would damn her soul to all Seven Hells by the end of the Dragons Dance.

rai·son d'ê·tre
the most important reason or purpose for someone or something's existence.Gods do not have favorites. They are not too interested in mortal affairs and even when the dance of the dragons began, they could do nothing but watch as dragons named after them died and those who worshipped them perished. Gods do not have favorites.
Yet Lucerys Velaryon exists and has gained the favor of a god. Be it a blessing or a curse, Lucerys is granted his wish after being forced to watch as all those he has loved died by their own hands. He returns three years before his own death, and he runs. Runs until Westeros cannot find him. Runs and hopes to never be seen again, wishing his family safety.
A gods love is a blessing and a curse — to be blessed by their affectione and cursed by their greed. Gods do not have favorites. But the gods had fallen in love with Lucerys' soul. And Dragons are possessive creatures willing to take back what is theirs.

Summary
As her wedding to Laenor Velaryon approaches, Rhaenyra doubts both the match and her desire for the Iron Throne. In answer, the Valyrian pantheon grants her the visions of three queens, one from the past, one from the present, and one from the future, all of whom advise her to choose divergent destinies. With their counsel in mind, Rhaenyra makes her choice.
Alternative title: "Dārī Perzōñi", or queens from the flames.
