Summary
According to his own memories, he is, or he was, the Hero of Time. He has explored ancient temples, battled demons, awakened sages. He’s stitched up his own wounds with needle and thread, made friends with Gerudo, and learned magic songs to call down rain or summon the sun, and he carries one-third of the Triforce within himself, even if he only sort of understands what that means.
In this world, he is a thief, an attempted murderer, and eleven years old.

Summary
Link always felt like an outsider in Kokiri, but he never thought the death of his guardian would lead him to find a life outside of the Forest. Link goes out into Hyrule, a child of destiny, foretold to be the Hero of Time and save the world. Along the way he is plunged into one dangerous situation after another, but makes a lot of friends a long the way. One of whom is a cute farm girl he can't get out of his mind. Will he be able to fulfill his destiny and still be able to have a life he has always longed for- a place where he truly feels at home?

Link Matheson is just another senior at his high school in Queens trying to make it to graduation. But when his brand new Nintendo Switch starts acting out of the ordinary, his world suddenly merges with another in order to create a real life adventure he wasn't prepared for. He and his friends are suffering from this new curse, taking on the powers and appearances of people they're not, and Link Matheson - the kid who's good at skateboarding and bad at math - is the only one who can set things right. The chosen hero has never been so terrified.
(This piece of fan fiction is a rewrite of one of my oldest works on the internet, written when I was around 13 or 14. This rewrite involves a more cohesive plot, more natural dialogue, as well as some utilization of the then-not-released Breath of the Wild lore. It's basically a reverse-isekai. Hope you like my retry at the premise!)

6 adventures, 6 adventures with hardly a year in between to process what he’s seen. Zelda likes to say it was destiny that he became the hero. He blames his situation on the hero that failed before him. Blames the dead hero for leaving a mess behind for him to clean up.
After a mishap he now has a new problem, if he changes the past in any way, he could cease to exist.
If he doesn’t do anything though, a kid fresh out of the forest will meet a terrible fate.
I.E. my take on Legend getting sent to the past, and helping Time with his adventure and stressing the entire way.

It is a very sad story: How a little girl is cast off from her tribe in a desperate attempt by her mother to save her life. She struggles in the unknown world of the Hylians against suspicion, bigotry, and shame. But in the end, she may find happiness in her adopted home.
