Summary
Slowly warm a pot of water, and a frog won't realise it's being cooked. After the events of series one, Nick, Judy, their friends and family are all too aware of where they are, and just how hot the water has got. Now they have the task of finding why the long absent Padriac Rattigan is in Zootopia, all while those hurt before try to recover, finding a long road stretched ahead. Dark interwoven conspiracies, ancient history covered up, grief and loss and those striving to avoid the mistakes of the past all collide, as the full magnitude of what is at stake slowly makes itself clear.

To commemorate his return from the last several months in hiding, Ratigan decides to purchase a new, grand portrait of himself. However, the American mouse selected to do it may prove too much for him to handle.

Basil and Dawson sent to Westbury help with a case of a missing diamond, only to be given a second case at the same time to look for a blackmailer within a Halloween party. The suspects for both cases are then caught up in being suspected in a third case as one of the party guests is murdered, and it seems that the number of ‘cases’ only keep growing the more the two investigate.
