Summary
Evelyn, a young woman from a small village in the Kingdom of Grace, the land of the blessed, attends the annual Harvest Festival of Volkland. There, she encounters a goblin with an insatiable appetite and a desirable elf-like no other. It’s at the festival that she discovers that she herself holds a power that until this moment she had been unaware of. These powers, discovered with the help of the two men she met, encourage the three of them to set out on an unexpected journey.
A second guest at the festival may prove to make things more difficult than they have to be-- but perhaps not by his own hands. The prince, who had been attending the festival in disguise, is suddenly struck with a love spell like no other, growing infatuated with the young maiden. His closest friend, and protector, sees the prince's infatuation, but he also grows weary of the power he can sense the girl possesses.
Meanwhile, the mountains to the North hold a powerful threat-- something that was thought to have been cast away years ago-- and it only grows stronger with each coming day.
