"Greg wanted to tell Alex that the kiss had been much more than a drunken experiment and that he'd genuinely wanted it, kind of, definitely, but how could he, if he didn’t even remember it happening? He wasn’t ready for any of this. He didn't even know what this was, and if he liked Alex in the same way Alex liked him. He just wanted Alex to come back to the show."
In this story, which takes place during the recording of series 14, Alex feels hurt because Greg can't remember the kiss they shared at a birthday party. Alex's mood plummets so dramatically that he ends up stepping down from the show indefinitely. Will Greg ever persuade his friend to come back? Will the show survive? And will Greg finally admit that he wants to kiss Alex as more than just an experiment?

When really, the interviewers had no fucking clue, and actually, thought Alex was just…what? His assistant? Greg is baffled as to how…a simple Google would have told them that despite the show, Alex is not actually his slave.

Alex supposed it was hardly surprising that more than a few people read their relationship as "kinky". It didn't bother him, one way or the other, as long as people found it funny. Which luckily they did seem to. The only thing that troubled him about it was that sometimes the word would sort of get stuck in his head for a bit. It would bounce around his skull and kick at certain memories or fantasies and make him wonder. If, maybe. Well, maybe, he wasn't exactly normal. But, surely, he couldn't be considered "kinky".
