Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens have done it. Winning their match at WrestleMania against Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon, they have secured their jobs on Smackdown.
Unfortunately for them.
As they soon realize, any other job would have been preferable to remaining under Shane’s tyrannical rule and, as the pair find themselves plagued with various injuries deliberately inflicted by Shane and his cronies, they realize they have some very difficult decisions to make.
But first things first, they have to survive long enough to do so.

Summary
It's the 28th Century. Earth and Humanity are little mote than a footnote in cosmic history and humanity is only carried on through those abducted from their lives by forces from the future. Most of the time, it's done for charitable reasons. But sometimes there are far more sinister intentions involved.
Having settled into a semi-comfortable life working for a futuristic fighting circuit, Tina LaMotte and her boss Cathal (formerly known as Shane McMahon) are looking to the future. Little do they know that that future involves two other WWE Superstars, stolen from Earth long after they were. When Kevin Owens is dragged into the future along with his best friend (and greatest rival) Sami Zayn, Tina sees potential in them. Potential for them to become stars of the Arena... and to possibly get her boss to re-embrace his lost humanity. But the Arena is not a hospitable place and, as it turns out, trying to force either Kevin or Sami to kill for sport is much harder than she anticipated.
As it turns out, some people enjoy having a soul.
The question is, will Tina and Shane reacquire their souls? Or will the two of them destroy Sami and Kevin's instead?Part of the "Adventures in Dreamland" line of stories.

The apartment was cold.
It had been cold since Sami moved in, three months ago. The windows shook whenever the wind grew strong and the small hole that he tried to cover with a box, seemed to allow Downtown Montreal to flood into the small apartment.
The apartment was small, frequently messy and cold but it was home and Sami loved it. He covered the walls with posters and pictures and smeared cream color paint across the kitchen ceiling, he made it feel lived in and happy.
He made it his home.
It smelt of honeysuckle candles and existence and the air tasted of spices and the memories of ancestors who never knew of his existence.

a 19 year old Sami Zayn craves to have his apartment feel like his childhood home. Loud and full of life and so, after Kevin suggestions, posts an AD for a roommate. When Randy Orton's little sister calls up, eager to find somewhere to live so she can attend the best med school in Montreal. Will they stay roommates or will their friendship bloom new flowers?
