They're not fools, but love makes them out to be, like every great couple.

«...ah?»
«No, è che...» Sembrava persino imbarazzato. «Mia sorella è entrata in fissa con 'sto libro: il protagonista è 'no scemo, ma rimorchia un sacco con frasi che...be', l'effetto è più o meno quello sulla tua faccia. Almeno secondo me. Ma lei non ci crede. E...ehm...ero solo curioso. Volevo vedere se era come nel libro, o...una cosa, ehr, così.»
Ermal sentiva di star facendo la figura dell'imbecille con quegli occhi spalancati, una statua nel bel mezzo del bar, e la tazzina di caffè – ormai tiepido – a pendergli dalle dita. L'unica sua consolazione era che quel ragazzo sembrava decisamente più imbecille di lui.
