Summary
Written by BNS, translated by Ye_cosine
Alternative universe: Salvador Allende suppressed the coup in 1973 and later staged a self-coup putting an end to the democratic system.
Salvador Allende, now president of a newly formed junta government, had discovered his most trusted general’s involvement in the plot against him, and it’s time for him to take measures. On the other hand, General Pinochet also realised that he’d got to earn his president’s trust back.

Summary
- Language:

Summary
The dialectical relationship between life and death, victory and failure.
Shockingly coincidental intertextuality with Shakespeare’s MacBeth:
“All hail, General Pinochet, hail to thee, General Chief of Staff.”
“All hail, General Pinochet, hail to thee, Commander-in-chief.”
“All hail, General Pinochet, that shalt be president hereafter.” -

Summary
They would never be married or have children. But Che had known that from the start. He had accepted it a long time ago. Che knew that Fidel was his and his alone and that he belonged to Fidel. They were exclusive and had been right from that very first night. There had never been a doubt in his mind on that score. Fidel had never loved another man except him and perhaps he never would.
The Havana nights that brought them together and the one that broke them apart.

Summary
I thought the war would make him forget - that he would be too absorbed in battle strategy and gunfire. Or maybe that the war had changed us too much. For me, Fidel the Comandante-en-Jefe was no less enticing than Fidel the young lawyer. But I could barely recognize the person I had been in Mexico - Ernesto was long gone, fully subsumed by Che.
Comandante Che - I liked when Fidel said that.

Summary
Patagonia, Argentina, 1977.
After the coup of 1976, Jorge Rafael Videla is in power, the first leader of a brutal dictatorship that will last until 1983. Political opponents and activists are "disappeared" left and right. It is a time of fear and helplessness.
Florencia and Daniel have moved down to Daniel's hometown at the very south of the country, hoping to distance themselves from their Peronist activism at university that would surely attract the dictatorship's attention. Despite the move, Daniel winds up in prison. When he's miraculously released after only one month, Florencia hopes for their lives to get back to normal, or as normal as they could possibly be in the freezing, windy, barren city that is her new home.
But something won't leave them alone.
