________There are two types of anger. There’s wet anger and dry anger.
Dry anger is when you talk quietly and slowly. When you are so angry that you forget to scream and yell. Dry anger is the kind of anger you feel so much that you can’t show it in any way other than speaking evenly. When you are so furious but you can’t hit or scream or cry or do anything because you’re done. You’re over it. Dry anger makes you feel strong because your voice is sharp and even.
Wet anger is when tears run down your face and your voice shakes. When you cry and scream and yell. Wet anger makes you want to curl up and die because you’re just so angry you can do nothing but sob into your knees or argue tirelessly. Wet anger is the type of anger that makes you feel pathetic because it shows that you still care. Wet anger is the type of anger you feel when you realize the boy you liked is actually your abusive ex-girlfriend.

It's times like these that Mrs. Crudmugeon--is it even 'Mrs' is she's not married?--wishes the pirates weren't joking about her cleaning the ships. At least she would have a place to sleep in the boat. Anything would be better than this crappy alleyway, where she can still smell the vomit from where she got sick by eating some old banana.
But alas, it was a joke. Like when you pretend to give a dog a treat just to rip it from the dog minutes after. Teasing. It makes Persimmon fume, but she knows from experience that anger will do nothing. You can't go back in time, no matter how much you wish you could.
