It was always a bit strange to Rin how few people seemed to believe in True Love. Everyone believed in curses — because of course curses existed, they were everywhere — but most of them were convinced True Love was the silly kind of myth you only told children so they’d have some hope in this god forsaken world. It was a sort of fairy tale myth that didn’t really exist, but gave some people (the especially stupid and pathetic) hope to get through their dreary days.
People who thought like that were, in Rin’s opinion, idiots.
True Love was everywhere, and just because it wasn’t always flashy and curse breaking, that didn’t make it any less real and powerful.
Despite that firmly entrenched belief in True Love, it still caught Rin Okumura entirely off guard when he met Ryuuji Suguro, the quiet and surly boy who lived all by himself at a little temple in the woods.

So there he was, perched on a fence gate thing, staring through the window of a small place. He was bound to this guy named Ryuuji, at the moment, a tall teen boy that looked more like a rooster than anyone deserving a mysterious demonic haunting.
He really didn't mean to cause so many damn problems.
