Summary
Murphy isn't quite sure how he ended up in the past. But at this point, crazier things have happened.
AKA Season 7 Murphy wakes up to find himself back where it all started to go wrong for him. At the end of a rope, paying for a murder he didn't commit. He figures that he might as well make the most of it, try this whole 'do better' thing. Not starting a man-hunt after a little girl named Charlotte is as good of a place as any to begin.

Summary
"Yeah, well," Murphy shrugs, turning away once she lets him go. "We all need someone to blame all of our fucking problems on. It's easier to hate one person for everything bad that's ever happened ever versus maybe hating yourself a little."
"Yeah, I guess so," she says, lolling her head to the side. "Bellamy did it?"
"Yeah," Murphy sighs, tossing the rag to the side. "Banishing thing, too. That sucked more."
"You were with him?"
"Kind of," Murphy sits down at the foot of Raven's makeshift bed, staring down at the ground in front of him. "We weren't not together. It wasn't official. It's not like we said anything about being boyfriend-boyfriend," he rolls his eyes. "Then he hanged me and banished me and got me tortured for three days. So he was a shitty boyfriend."
Raven snorts, laying back down. "Good to know we both had shitty boyfriends," she laughs, though there isn't a lot of humour in her tone, if any at all. "I'll kick Bellamy's ass for you, too."
Murphy laughs, smiling a little at that. "Thanks, Raven."
(or, bellamy gets sick with the illness. murphy deals with his anger in several ways)

Summary
Murphy has never been a hero.
Despite the amount of times that Bellamy has called him out for wanting to be one, Murphy has never been a hero. He's never been a hero and he's never wanted to be. His streak of "doing the right thing" has only recently begun for the most part, though he thinks that's not really his fault, given all the shit that happened to him five minutes after crashing to the ground.
Murphy has never been a hero, but he thinks that what he's about to do might fucking make him one.
Raven isn't going up into space with them, that much is clear enough. She had to fix something with the rocket, something that had her go outside, up a satellite tower, too far away to get back in time.
Murphy doesn't want to die alone. Raven is going to die alone, and as much as she'll never admit it, Murphy knows that she's just as scared of dying alone as he is.
And Murphy would have to be absolutely fucking insane if he was going to let her do that.
"I'm staying," Murphy suddenly says. "I'm staying here."
(or, role swap with clarke. raven stays to fix the satellite — and murphy stays with her)

Summary
Murphy draws in a breath, deciding to just get over himself and be the first one to say it.
"I missed you," he sighs. "Which sounds stupid, I know, but—"
"No," Raven immediately cuts him off. "Stand up, we're hugging," Raven tells him, and Murphy laughs, rolling his eyes as hard as he can. He does stand, and within seconds she's crushing his ribcage, holding him far too tightly. "I missed you. I wanted to come back like five times."
"Well, thank god you didn't," Murphy laughs, muffled. "Emori would have kicked your ass. She'd have dragged you back as soon as you started moving away from her. She's really good at making people stop moving."
Raven just holds him tighter. "Shut up, Murphy."
And so he does, figuring that she realises that he's deflecting. He's not sure what he's deflecting, but he knows that he's doing it, and clearly Raven does too. Which of course she does — she knows him better than he thinks that he knows himself half the time.
"They were right," Murphy murmurs. "About us."
"I know," Raven sighs.

Summary
“Listen, Mr. Murphy, the DA’s offering a very good plea deal. The first of its kind, and with how… public your case is, hopefully not the last,” Kane explains.
A payoff, maybe, Murphy thinks. They don’t want him blabbing his mouth, so he gets off as free as he can get. “What would I have to do?”
“No jail time, other than what you’ve already served,” Kane says and this intrigues Murphy.
“And the bad news?”
“You’ll be working with a hero from the Coalition, a rehabilitation initiative-“
Murphy’s blood runs cold. “No,” he says quietly.
OR
John Murphy is a supervillain who, in order to stay out of jail, is forced to engage in some kind of rehabilitation, forcing him to work with the hero who arrested him.

Summary
To be clear: Murphy's not quite sure how he ended up here. But somehow, they're waiting in a hospital to make sure Clarke and Raven are going to be alive and Bellamy looks like he's going to punch something.
Well, Murphy's sort of clear: he knows they got here because of the crash. What he doesn't quite remember is why Bellamy is about to pounce.
(or: clarke forces everyone to ballroom dance, there are way too many baking metaphors and people get hit by cars.)

Summary
Odonata Blair— or Dragonfly, depending on who's asking— doesn’t know nearly as much about insects as her mother does, but she knows enough. Well, she knows more than anyone else on the ground at least. That has to count for something. Why else would she be one of the 100? Did one of the ARK’s most promising entomology recruits just happen to also be a criminal? No, that’s not Dragonfly. Or, as John would say, that’s not Bugs. John’s not here, though. Right?
//OR//
The one where John fucks up anyone who’s mean to bugs.

They're back on Earth, for real this time, and for once there is no fighting, no pain, just them. What now though? The obvious answer is marry the love of his life and have a shit ton of kids. Nothing can ever be easy for them right? Not even paradise.
John Murphy transcends, and comes back because those Light Hoes are bitches. Everything stays the same about the finale except that they can reproduce and rebuild humanity.

Summary
— “I know everything about you, John Murphy,” she says, as if it’s that simple.
The one where Murphy decides transcendence doesn't sound all that fun anyway.
Or: the one where Spacekru deserved a little more of an ending than that .2s of screentime we got at the very end.
