Haunted by a past broken by fire and carnage and betrayal, carrying the burden of keeping Jubilife village safe alongside maintaining good relations with the natives, he can only hope letting this stranger from beyond the rift won't have history repeat a second time.
A Pokémon AU where commander Kamado is the one to find the protagonist. I speculate about what happened to the village he and Beni came from that was attacked by pokemon.
