Quinn likes to think he’s a pretty decent captain. Sure, he’s young and largely inexperienced within the NHL when compared to some of the other guys on his team. But, as his coaches always tell him, he’s got the mentality to make up for it. He’s strong-willed yet a team player, calm and collected in the moment but still invested. A small checklist of traits, not only allowing him to stay on the ice but to thrive and climb up the ranks. Somehow a Jack of all trades and still a master (his trainer’s words not his.). If he’s being completely honest, it is a small pride of his, the professional persona he’s managed to carefully craft throughout the years.
All that goes out the window the moment he’s stuck in a room with Wenover, Paulson, Leafsy, and Oliver for more than an hour.
