Professor Caraway gave Rosemary and Sage a simple mission: to find and reach out to the long forgotten fairy communities hidden within the woods to begin talks toward an eventual alliance against the ever-growing corruption. Yet the fairy they encounter seems more interested in playing games than any serious discussion.
But that's not the only struggle they face. What Sage doesn't know is a particular aspect of Fairy culture that stands opposed to human society; one which will stretch the limits of her comfort zone, and her feelings she has for Rosemary that go far deeper than she'd ever cared to admit.

Stuck in space! Our guardians are trapped on the space station since the Sage's spells to get them back to Lyngarth aren't working. While Kaz doesn't mind most of them, he is jealous of how close Snap, a new girl, and Torra, a girl he once had a crush on, have gotten in the past month. He later speaks to Torra about his feelings, learns that Torra has a new girlfriend, and Snap's secret...of sorts. When he starts to understand what Snap means, he and Torra are called into duty to protect the Colossus. They must stop a band of space pirates led by Tam's former comrade, Rucklin, who survived the destruction of a Star Destroyer, and is out for revenge.
