Summary
“Steven?” Marc brought up one evening once they were ready to sleep. “I think I’m haunted by a poltergeist.”
Steven blinked at the mirror on his bedstand. “You’re haunted? Not me also?” Marc nodded. “How odd. What makes you say that?”
“Weird things keep on happening in my storage locker.”
“Our storage locker?”
“It was mine first,” Marc argued. “My cash never runs out. The inside is always tidy. My booze always goes missing. And just when I think I’m out of food, bam, can of tuna at the bottom of my rucksack. Always.”
Steven furrowed his brow. He looked up at the slanted attic window. In the reflection, Jake was not paying to the current conversation. Or at least, seemed to. “Come on, Jake.”

Summary
“Open your throat, relax and swallow baby.” He says, and I follow his order, swallowing. I cringe, looking up at him with a scowl.
“That tasted disgusting asshole.”
He takes a step back, grabbing his boxers and pulling them on. He looks at me with a shrug, smirking.
“You swallowed. So I guess it didn’t taste that bad.”
I climb off the pillow and throw it at him.
“I hate you.” I grumble.
“Feelings mutual.”

Summary
“It’s not going to be the same as it once was,” Layla rubbed his index finger with her thumb, a soothing motion that he could focus on. “But I want it to be that way, and I know for a fact that you do too.”
She had always been good at reading him, delving deep into the thick of his mind and what he liked and disliked. Layla was smart, perceptive, and stubborn at the best of times, she had always put her all into those she loved and cared for. Sometimes, when he sat back and really thought about it, he was overwhelmed at just how much she seemed to love him and what she was willing to do and sacrifice for his happiness. It was the same way for him and his feelings for her — there was no ocean wide enough to keep them apart, no man who could come between them, and no journey that he would rather take for her.
It made Marc feel so incredibly guilty for just now realizing the gravity of how deep Layla El-Faouly’s love for him went and would continue to go.
Or, the Moon Boys decide to face their fears and get some much needed answers, with some feelings along the way.

Summary
There was a very long pause. A very cautious unwinding, like a cat creeping out from under a bed. His reflection folded its arms and said, “Why do I feel like you want to ask me questions you know you’re not gonna like the answers to?”
