Gladewisp continues her life in Thunderclan, and with Tigerclaw's exile, all she needs to focus on is making sure her clan is fed. That is, until a strange group of rogues begin to attack hunting patrols. It seems as if the exiled deputy isn't finished with Thunderclan just yet.
Brownpaw refuses to let his new injuries stop his training. But now balancing his apprenticeship with teaching a fox kit the ways of the clans, one can wonder if he took on more than he could chew.
Eaglepaw has forged a bond with his younger cousins, despite Onewhisker's protest. But with Bloodclan's arrival and Riverclan on the brink of starvation without Windclan's help, Eaglepaw realizes that he might have to grow up faster than he originally thought.
And in Riverclan, the wisps are gathering. After all, death will soon arrive, and it will be up to them and the cats they guide to prevent death's victory. Return to the clans in Forest of Secrets, and continue the quest of saving as many cats as possible.

Summary
When a fire engulfs ThunderClan's camp, the Clan flees. Unfortunately, Hollyleaf and her family are separated from the Clan, but they are at least together. That is, until a flaming tree branch corners herself and her family, with the exception of Squirrelfight. Squirrelflight struggles to find a way to save them until Ashfur comes to the rescue. One by one, they work together to get Hollyleaf and her siblings out of the fire. However, when Brambleclaw is the last to leave, Ashfur's demeaner changes, and he suddenly shows his true colors. Ashfur will do whatever it takes to get what he wants, even if that means hurting those he thinks he loves. That being said, Hollyleaf isn't about to just let it happen.

It has been roughly three months since the Clans underwent the bloodiest battle since the ancient Battle of Fourtrees, which resulted in a ThunderClan-WindClan victory.
The ThunderClan soldier Fireheart has been cleared from the hospital since just over a month ago, having suffered a bruised rib in the battle of WindClan's base camp. However, he is not in the mood to rest. Tigerclaw, lieutenant to General Bluestar, still has the blood of the former lieutenant Redtail on his hands.
Through his search for answers, Fireheart only ends up with more questions.
