The sequel to "Cinderella (a.k.a. Cindercloud)".
Riku is the son of Yazoo, one of the most hated men in the kingdom. Everyone knows the story about King Cloud's abuse (or what they think is the story), and owing to that he and his father have lived a rough life. It doesn't help that Yazoo is still an egotist who is certain they were made to be royalty themselves, almost to the point of delusion. Riku is raised to keep his body fit, his hair neat, and to act with a princely manner that pleases many employers, but none enough to ask for his hand. Instead, they offer job after job to the boy, but his own father refuses each on the grounds it could give Riku blisters. So besides the dirty looks, they also have suffered many nights without food for lack of funds thanks to his father's stubborn beliefs.
Once Riku is old enough, however, enough becomes enough. He refuses to starve on the hope of finding a fancy, rich husband tomorrow when he could care for himself today...
Yet, it's always when one isn't looking anymore that they often find happiness.

Summary
Ultimate Marvel, later known as ultimate comics was an imprint of Marvel Comics that took the concepts in the marvel universe and modernized them. It proved to mostly be a hub of the same ideas but with a little extra grimdark nonsense and toxic masculinity.
Ultimate Marvel represented a missed opportunity to tell stories that you couldn't tell because of continuity or Jim Shooter types. Ultimate Marvel should have been a wonderful playground to toy with marvel ideas and instead, we ended up with more incest, rape and murder than one would assume possible.
This is the first chapter of a four-part series where I will do my take on an ultimate style universe. A streamlined experiment in character and setting, taking place in the 1960s.

Pirate/Colonial AU!
Prompto is Lord Besithia's son, the governor of a port town in Niflheim that is both prosperous and in threat of pirate invasions. The growing pirate threat necessitates that Niflheim, Tenebrae, and Lucis work together to end the pirate scourge before it threatens their lives. Little do they know that Prince Noctis is secretly the captain of a pirate ship, disappearing with his sworn shield, Gladio, for months at a time. Meanwhile, Ignis Scientia is a commander in the royal navy, charged with stopping the more fearsome pirates in the seas.
As the war against piracy rages, the four find their worlds colliding, for better or worse.

Slice of Life AU. I was given a prompt of making Ignis deaf and built an AU around it.
Ignis is the successful owner of a small bakery located in downtown Insomnia. While happy, he is somewhat melancholic, and his best friend, Noctis often worries about him. He has closed himself off to the world as a deaf, gay man, preferring to focus on his work instead of cultivating the relationships others want him to make.
Noctis, a "prince" of Insomnia, is five years younger than Ignis and set on a path to take over his father's business as a titan of the automotive industry. He is particularly bright, and particularly lazy, as a college student, but knows he can rely on Ignis no matter what.
Prompto is a shy and nervous college student, who considers his baseline emotion to be anxious. He is trying to successfully navigate college life while figuring out where his own path will lead.
Gladio was once known as a serious delinquent who worried his parents constantly. Now the successful owner of a gym, he is working hard to repair the relationships he destroyed in high school.
Through a series of events the boys collide, helping each other through all the things life has to throw at them. -
