Summary
Sudou Kaname's world had just been flipped upside down. After downloading an app called Darwin's Game, he had the displeasure of running into another player in a Panda costume intent on killing him. After an exhausting and frankly terrifying chase in a parking garage, he stumbles back to where he last saw his friend that tried to help him, only to find his body outline cutting into the cement. He receives a last text message from his friend, telling him to survive, but also asking him to take care of his little sister for him. Kaname grieves his friend's death and curses the game and it's creators, but swears to honor the life his friend gave for him by protecting his little sister if he can.
