My take on a Yellow Diamond AU.
Story will *not* Be a Steven/Nora spin off, Greg is *not* the father, sorry folks! This is a bit darker than your traditional AU and also will feature the characters older as well.
As this has me trying to add in art, please be patient and the chapters might be 'short' compared to the over all story. I try to just put up what I can. If people don't want the art then the chapters would get posted quicker.
I do hope you enjoy following Yelena around as she tries to come to terms with life, being an adult, and also apparently a Diamond.

Things had been going pretty great for Danny this week, believe it or not.It had been uncharacteristically quiet ghost-wise. Just the occasional minor spirit floating around here and there, little more than a loose collection of ectoplasm and the desire to cause mischief; a quick flash of his thermos was all it took to capture those and send them packing. There had been no take over the world plans to thwart, no bone-crunching, property-damaging, reputation-ruining fights to fight, no sudden appearances of freaky new abilities to master, and only one of his parents’ new inventions had tried to fry him.

Finding one's purpose in life is hard. Thankfully, Steven made friends on his 39-state expedition who genuinely cared about him and wanted to see him happy. One friend became his roommate, and another joined forces with said roommate to form Steven's band. The 3 called themselves P.D.I.N.C. (for Pink Diamond Incorporated), and Steven found himself in a place of happiness and purpose, discovering joy in writing and performing music.
The only downside was that one member was a pothead, and the other was the Pink-Diamond version of himself. Dealing with a subconscious was hard enough, but seeing it as an apparition that others could see was harder.

Hey everyone, this is one of my first stories on Archive of our own, I've written other stories on other platforms so I have some experience. I made this cause I love Steven universe, and wanted to continue practicing my writing.
That being said, grammatical errors will always be kept to a minimum and I'll always be trying out new things with this story.
Originally I planned on starting at future and making it short, but I'm stubborn and decided to start at the beginning. I love long and well fleshed out stories, so I hope I can accomplish that with this one.Thanks for reading❤️
