Summary
Ever since he was a child, Octavian's wings were covered in down, and no matter how hard he prayed, no flight feathers came in. His younger siblings had theirs come in, his cousins had theirs come in, but his never did. Every day, he'd hide them under a cloak, feigning an injury to avoid the mutterings, the laughter, and avoid their stares. When he heard of a lute that could grant whoever played it their every desire, he decided to search for it, taking a chance, leaving behind everything and everyone in hopes of finding this elusive instrument. Little did he know it was cursed. Upon playing it for that first time, he felt something off but thought it was just something that was all part of the magic, and he was right, just not as he expected.
Day by day, he found himself remembering less and less of it until he was always watching from within, always praying for an escape, and one day, he saw it: a light, similar to the sun, a hope for freedom. He smiled as he fell, only to awaken somewhere new and familiar all at once. Now it's up to him to navigate this new life he's been given, and find forgiveness, both from himself and from those who suffered while he was cursed.(WIP, on hiatus due to school and writer's block)

Summary
Cadence finds herself in a strange land. She's pretty sure that whatever is plaguing the lands, it's similarities with the Necrodancer's crypt isn't a coincidence.
A slightly different retelling of Cadence of Hyrule, mostly focusing on Cadence's perspective.
