I recently read a BR AU fanfic on ff.net where the class is put into teams instead of solo carnage (fanfic „If...” written by Yaoi Huntress Earth, also available now on AO3) and I really dig the idea, so obviously I'd like to put my greedy hands all over it and do my own take (I received the OG fic's authors blessing to go for it).
(Especially since Blitz Royale has its characters split into teams so it makes it sorta-kinda canon. At the very least – it's not that far-fetched from the original story, especially with the BR2 movie also forcing kids with the same number to stay together and not let the other die. So it’s a pretty probable scenario at this point.)
I've decided on splitting the class into 14 teams consisting of 3 members each. I did it by rolling a 21 sided virtual dice – first boys, then girls, then whoever was left. So the teams are just like og Programs participants and their weapons – not entirely balanced.
Plus teams of three are less taxing to write while letting me explore each character with more care.This take is set in the novel universe with tiny add-ons from Taguchi’s manga / Angels Borders to characters' personalities.

Don't think all the dogs are good. No, there are no good dogs. Only the truly evil and villainous dogs will dominate the psyche of the ecosystem.
