Summary
Elio and his dubiously terrible mom move to Alola from Kanto, and on the flight Elio meets a boy a bit older than him named Red and his mom, who are taking a vacation to deliver an egg to the cousin of a man named Professor Oak. One thing leads to another, and Elio and Red become friends through repeatedly chasing Pokemon around for a day until they accidentally come across the school Red was supposed to deliver the egg at. Both of them end up becoming students at the school (Red through a scholarship the principal created for trainers from three other regions), and hilarity ensues! ...And also some not so hilarious things too, down the line.
But it all gets better in the end. I promise.

Set in the Summer/Fall of 1985 after the events at Starcourt Mall. Featuring alternating Steve/Eddie POV, Jason Carver being a huge asshole, and an epic battle of survival against the elements… and each other.
Steve has a sunburn from hell, a minor concussion, and he hasn't eaten in three days. Somehow Eddie Munson still manages to be the most annoying thing about this whole ordeal.
