Summary
Neko overcomes reincarnation, as life is divine. Having shut herself off from the terrestrial world, Neko lived her days alone inside a shack in Hell. She lived with pretenses when she was alive, but even dead her agoraphobia reigns so agonizingly that she couldn't truly be whoever she was. She had convinced herself that she had no future, shielded herself from the one person that believed she had, and defined one that looked similar to him with hope and mercy. Even in Hell, she is better off not knowing the deceit of her own misconceptions. Fake Kitaro truly has nothing shaping him any longer, not even a lonely cat's sacrifice.

Summary
A chip off of the old block splinters from a bridge he thought was built with bricks, but it isn't as if it actually changed the odds of dependent origination and the inevitable rat race that must follow. A pent up and frustrated Kitaro had been avoiding his concerned father for much too long. Medama-Oyaji finally catches up and gives his wayward son a stern lecture quite like any other. This time Kitaro does not resort to silence and the meekness Japanese humans had taught him, but an inner rage that had festered, unmet by anything short of unwanted filial chains and suppressed desires. Still, the links between yokai and humans straddle him no matter his attempts to cut them off.

Summary
What constitutes the deliverance of mankind, and why would a doltishly plucky seven year old wonder as such? Kitaro, stuck between ages seven and ten, re-encounters a fellow beatnik that shows him the highs and lows of seedy Tokyo life; it's cruelty and it's felicity. He receives karmic acquisition he never asked for and bears it with newfound regret for his actions. Sunakake-Babaa finds the boy in a process of resurrection that intrigues her and decides to speed it along with maternal affection he desired, suffered, and harassed others for.
