In hopes of getting Ashiya’s eyesight back as well as taking care of Aoi, Abeno has fully immersed himself in the underworld without much contact with the mundane world in order to fulfill his duty as the Mononokean master. Abeno comes in contact with new villages, hardships, and tries to understand his pent up emotions. Ashiya is coping with the loss of his sight, his friend Abeno, and the miscommunication between the two that sparked a feud of heartbreak.

Hanae almost blinked, but he stopped himself, unable to pass up the chance to antagonize Abeno. Instead, he blinked twice and was rewarded with a sour look. Luckily for him, he was pretty sure Abeno wouldn't hit an injured and paralyzed patient in a hospital bed.
Unfortunately, Abeno wasn't above picking up a pillow and smacking Hanae in the face with it, but it was a small price to pay.

Summary
Something is effecting the Underworld. The Underworld Princess has fallen ill and a disease slowly heads towards the demons that can kill them off in less than a month once it finds a host. A human is rumored to be causing these unfortunate events and the Master of the Mononokean is tasked in finding the culprit. However, being human, Abeno Haruitsuki, is suspected as well and his life will be taken away if he cannot find them. However, this is only one of his worries.
In the human world, demons are being tortured and killed off by someone who can use Influence. It is unknown how long it will be until demons are safe. Conflicted, Abeno will have no choice to enlist the help of Ashiya, a former friend who loathes him but can see demons.
Will Ashiya accept to help? Or will Abeno be forced to relive seeing demons die off like years ago?
