Summary
It had been easy. Too easy. It almost made the catch less fun, in the end.
Almost.
Ramsay had known of the little prissy twink, sure. Exchanged occasional jabs perhaps. Seen him in passing, at least. They ran in similar enough circles. Went to a lot of the same competitions (there were only so many every year, after all). Ramsay hadn’t really given the other man much thought other than getting some vague entertainment from him as time went on. And he never forgot a face.
Especially not one that sneered openly at him, glared and even had the audacity to mock him, however lightly, when he thought Ramsay and his friends either weren’t within earshot or eyesight. And thinking there would be no repercussions.
How wrong he was.

Theon’s lip curled of its own volition. “It’s not for you to say how I behave or don’t behave.” He hated the hint of truth in Ramsay’s words; he had been acting rather like a child tonight. But like hell was he ever going to admit that.
The arm around him tightened, pushing the air from his lungs. “Mmm,” Ramsay hummed, rubbing his other large hand down Theon’s arm. “Maybe not yet. But from that pitiful performance earlier, I think it’s obvious you need some guidance.”
Theon felt his stomach quiver at his use of the word ‘pitiful’; nearly everyone in his life had slung that descriptor at him at one point or another.
His thoughts were cut short when the hand migrated from his forearm to his hip, squeezing it. “You have to let your hips absorb the movement.”
His cheeks heated and fists gripped the leather strap harshly. “I can ride,” he snapped.
“Really?” There was an obvious smile in the other man’s voice. His tone dropped in register, breath ghosting across the back of his neck. “Then show me.”

Summary
Each second seemed like an eternity. Until-
The buzzer sounded; the door opened. Theon felt his chest tighten.
It was like all the competitors before had hardly counted. Ramsay seemed born for it; his muscled thighs clutched against the sides of the bull effortlessly, his broad pelvis absorbed the shock of the impact with ease.
Theon couldn’t help noticing that his shirt had ridden up a little, exposing the swell of a hairy, pale underbelly hanging over his belt buckle and the hair on his head had come free from its confines and lashed out about his face like angry whips.
Heat pooled low in Theon’s stomach. He shifted; a bit disturbed by his body’s response to this. Yet he couldn’t tear his eyes away.
If he thought the bulls were powerful, they seemed to pale in comparison to Ramsay. He was just a man, yet he was able to take everything the bull gave him without any obvious difficulty or strain. As if this was as easy for him as taking a walk.
